We have a unique opportunity for someone looking to live alone but for a more affordable cost in a great area! We have a large two bedroom apartment right near Pratt that we rarely use since spending most of our time in our home upstate with our baby. We're looking to find someone that would like to live alone most of time but open to occasional crashers a few nights a month. We're in the city anywhere from 0-6 nights a month, usually on the less frequent side. We have some flexibility on how long the stay can be and for the right fit would be happy to have someone longer!

The bedroom is cute and cosy, just 8.5x11.5, it has a window and can come fully furnished. We tried to make the price match a few factors - the smaller room size, larger apartment, the really lovely area and that you'll usually be living completely alone.

We’re very (very) clean, friendly, easy going, out of the apartment a lot when in town, social but also private and respectful, open to all roomie shapes and sizes and hoping you’re like minded! Would prefer an individual vs a couple because it could be a little tight for multiples and its kinda nice if you work outside of the home occasionally. Since we're so rarely around, its nice to have a little wiggle room in the space for the day or two we might pop in. You don’t have to love kids but you gotta be kind! Louka will be around occasionally but to know him is to love him. This is more of a crash pad for us when we have a reason to be in the city.

We fell in love with Clinton Hill many years ago and could not believe how lucky we were to find this apartment. We've now been here for 11 years and have been renting it out for 3 - so this is familiar to us! It is a true two bedroom (not railroad). The apartment is located on the third floor of an old tenement building from 1901 and is approx 1000 sq ft. We are surrounded by diversity and love to live with so many different cultures and age ranges. Fort Greene is right next door, as is BedStuy and so many other walkable neighbourhoods. The building is a quiet space with mostly family tenants and everyone is friendly but respectful of noise and privacy.

The apartment features high ceilings, natural light on both ends and lots of lamps and antique wall sconces to give a nice variety of light to match any mood. The apartment has two bedrooms (one that we'd use a few times a month), a large nautical themed bathroom and a separate kitchen and dining area.

We are two blocks from Pratt Institute and from the G train or approximately 10-15 minute walk to all major subway lines dependent on your stride. In general it is 20 minutes by car or subway to Manhattan and walking distance to BAM, The Barclay Center, and local restaurants, bars and markets.

We have lived in this apartment for 11 years and really feel at home here! We're easy going, clean and friendly. We won't be around much and when we're in town it will be to attend an event or see friends, so mostly just quick hellos in the shared spaces but open to some hanging, maybe a friend or two over for a glass of wine if the stars align. We love meeting new people!
