Hey all!
I'm looking to sublet my entire 1 bedroom apartment in Hamilton Heights for a few months.
THE ROOMS
- The bedroom faces east and gets great natural light.
- A galley kitchen connects the bedroom to the living room, with a bathroom in between.
- The bathroom has a tub and frosted window for additional light.
- The living room has a communal sitting area, a standing desk to work/write/sketch at, and a sonos speaker.
- The kitchen will be fully stocked for cooking, making coffee, chopping veggies, etc.
- There is also additional pantry/shelf space if you need in the living room.
- I will leave you ample space for your personal items.
THE BUILDING
- The room is on the ground floor of a pre-war building on a tree-lined street.
- There are two steps up to the main entrance and another one to the hallway leading to the room.
- A plus: while it's on the ground floor, it is on the back of the building on a hill so the room actually looks out over the top of the building behind it.
- Laundry in the basement via an elevator. It takes cards.
THE LOCATION
- Steps to the A/C and B/D trains at 145th, but removed enough from all the hustle around there.
- Less than 10 minute walk to the 1.
- The neighborhood is quite residential and full of trees, just above St. Nicholas park and Hamilton Grange. There are great spots nearby - Manhattanville Coffee and Cocina Consuelo to name two of my favorites.
I am the current tenant and have lived here for a little more than a year. But you will have the entire place to yourself. I will be nearby and can address any maintenance issues that may arise.
Rent $2,035/mo. Additional costs include Fios wifi ($35/mo) and utilities (ConEd usually about $80/mo).
Security deposit: $500 - 1,000 depending on length of stay. To be returned less any damage.
Minimum two-month stay. Open to discussing longer.
I will ask you to sign a sublet agreement.
