I’m seeking a temporary renter (or two) for my 420-square-foot recently-renovated one-bedroom condo in Central Harlem (W 138th St. and Lenox Ave.).

The desired starting date is December 1st, but the end date is very flexible, with a minimum stay until May 30, 2025 (six months) and a maximum stay up until Aug 31, 2026 (21 months).

The apartment is very quiet: it sits on the first floor in the back of a building that stands next to a few churches and schools. One minute from the 2/3 line. It has very good AC/heater and new dishwasher and washer/dryer.

It is entirely furnished and it has a fully-equipped kitchen. All clothes and clutter visible in the pictures have already been taken away into storage (the books and art are staying, unless you'd like the latter stored) and the closet's door has been repaired.

The bedroom comes with a motorized rising bed (the one you can see in this video: https://www.cinius.com/it/soppalchi/rising.php), which turns the room into a fully usable workspace when lifted. There’s a queen-sized inflatable mattress in the closet for any guests.

The rent I am asking for ($ 3,050) is exclusive of high-speed wi-fi ($ 50) and of electricity (which depends on your usage).

Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested. I'll respond quickly.

Thank you,

Emanuel

Rental requirements

I am not asking for any documentation, references, deposit, fee, or upfront payments, but I am kindly asking that if anything is ruined or broken during your stay it be replaced. I am only asking for $ 1,525 to lock the place and for the remaining $ 1,525 before the move-in date.

Pets Policy

Up to two cats are good (no dogs, sorry!). The apartment has a cat toilet, which you should be able to see in the pictures: a space built underneath the washer/dryer closet, with a cat door, to contain the litter boxes and keep them out of sight and smell. There is also a lockable cat door on the bedroom door. Needless to say, cats love the rising bed.
