Hello! I’m looking for a roommate for the third bedroom in our beautiful home.

What we are Looking for in a Roommate:

- Committed to open and kind communication so we can have a good roommate relationship and deal with any conflicts or misunderstandings in a respectful way
- Clean and considerate in the common areas (although if you want to be totally messy in your room like I am, completely fine!)
- Non-smoker - Landlord requires no smoking. Edibles are totally fine.

THE HOUSE

- 3 br, 2 bath, 1860 SF - second floor of a large house (a duplex)
- Gorgeous Spanish-style home with 9-10 foot ceilings, wood floors, and lots of light and plants
- Common areas are large - a living room, dining room, large breakfast nook, large kitchen
- Dishwasher & laundry in unit; AC & heat
- Grassy front yard with patio furniture, garden beds, and planting fruit trees on the sides
- Furnished front patio for morning coffee and reading
- Street parking

The house itself is already set/furnished except for your bedroom - which has a twin trundle bed and some art on the wall. We can coordinate if you have your own bedroom furniture.

Closet is 5’10 wide and 2’ deep; there is a second closet outside your room for additional storage

Furniture: The common areas are already furnished so there isn’t room for additional furniture in those spaces. I generally rent out your room partly furnished, so there is a twin trundle bed in your bedroom currently, along with paintings/shelves etc. You can bring in your own bedroom furniture but I just need enough heads up so I can arrange to get rid of mine.

Animals: I have a very sweet but sometimes spicy cat who unfortunately doesn’t play well with other animals, so you’d need to like cats, but not have your own! I’ve fostered kittens in the past without much trouble from Sophie, so I’d love to do that again as well. And who doesn’t love KITTENS?!

We are two female professionals (26 and 40) who are creative and fun! I’m a strategy consultant focused on social impact/CSR. I love music, travel, photography, gardening, surfing, and being outside in general. The other roommate (26) is artsy and works in consulting as well. We both work from home but are also out of the house a lot!

I put together this home four years ago to start fresh - I wanted something beautiful and welcoming, and it’s become a sanctuary. We love it!
