We are Eileen(29 years), Alyana(26 years), and a 5-year-old cat named Sage, looking for a third roommate to join our home. The apartment is in the heart of Bedstuy on a bustling block with plenty of small businesses like coffee shops, bookstores, and restaurants. Our neighborhood is a mix of longtime residents and younger folks. The building is shared with one other unit above us, and our neighbors are long-time residents. We put a lot of love and care into our space and are looking for someone who can contribute to that.

Bedroom & Office are $1,625/mo.
The Bedroom is available ASAP, and the office will be available in early 2025. Rent will be $950 until the office becomes available. Eileen is moving out in early 2025, and the office will become available once she leaves (Jan 1 or Feb 1). Please only inquire if you are interested in renting BOTH rooms.

The Bedroom:
- Available ASAP or for January 1st, 2025
- Rent is $950/mo (heat and hot water included)
- A spacious 8'x14' room with 10' ceilings!
- Has a west-facing window with an A/C unit
- Small closet ( we have shoe storage and hooks for communal use in the hallway)
- Can fit a full/queen-sized bed plus enough furniture to feel personalized and cozy!

This rate is difficult to come by for a room + office in an apartment this size!

Wifi: $33/mo per person
ConEd: $75-$80/mo per person
Household items such as toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc., are paid communally and ordered every 2-3 months.

Our block is busy and can be noisy during the day and on weekend nights, but it usually quiets down after midnight. If you’re a light sleeper or can’t handle neighborhood chatter and a few sirens as background noise, this is not the place for you. It just takes some getting used to, we promise :)

Deal Breakers:
- NO PETS
- NO homophobia, racism, sexism, isms of any kind
- NO crossing lines/boundaries between roommates

Our Ideal Roommate is:
- A woman ( this is a W/T/F + NB inclusive space )
- Are excited about living with people who are clean and tidy and can stick to a cleaning schedule
- Pay rent and utilities promptly
- Don't bring the party or mess home after nights out
- Like your alone time but are open to chit chats and roommate hangs in the apt from time to time :)
- You are looking to settle down for a while and make this your long-term home :)
- Are responsible, communicative, considerate, and kind; know how to share space with others
- Covid health conscious: You take precautions when traveling and are willing to test regularly (especially during surges) + quarantine/distance when feeling ill. Please share your vaccination status when you inquire.
- Love cats and will be happy to share space with Sage
- Are overall a friendly and chill person who enjoys a peaceful and artful living space :)
