The 1:1 aide will provide support to an 8yo girl with mild developmental delays (Down syndrome) while also enabling her to be as independent as possible at summer camp. The aide will support the individual with transitions between activities, ensuring safety at all times. The individual must be patient, caring and have an interest in understanding the needs of people with disabilities. The job will be primarily outside at the summer camp. Monday-Friday schedule 8:30 and 4:30 for 6 weeks from July 8th through week of August 12th. Must be willing to have background check completed (this will be done by AIM)
I am looking to hire a 1:1 aide to support my 8yo daughter for 6 weeks at summer camp. As the mom/advocate for my daughter with Down syndrome, I will be doing the interviewing, but you would be employed and paid by AIM services.
