Hi there! I currently have a few openings for Guitar students beginning this month.

Helping students find their personal direction and inner musical voice is something that is very important to me. My teaching philosophy focuses on unlocking the musical expression that exists within us all. Beyond my regular teaching style, Guitar lessons are focused on what the student's individual and unique goals are. My approach is always fun, patient, and focused to help you on your own unique musical journey.

-Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced
-All ages welcome :)
-Acoustic and Electric
-Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Folk, etc.

-Also teaching on Zoom, FaceTime, etc.

About this Lister

I am a full time musician and full time guitar teacher based in New York City w/ a strong passion for music and teaching.

In a nutshell, I would consider myself a very patient, down-to-earth, and fun type of teacher with a good sense of humor.

Teaching provides me with a different type of satisfaction than performing. I love working with students and seeing them become inspired and grow musically as well as people.

On my own personal journey, I have been fortunate to have had some amazing teachers and mentors that have helped me discover my own lifelong joy of playing music. I'm a big believer of sharing these same approaches to others. That's what music is all about.

Background and Expertise

Over 12 years experience teaching beginners, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages.

Was recently a featured host/teacher for the Guitar World Magazine app "Lick of the day". I also have a BA in Music from Florida International University in Miami, FL.

Through my journey, I have opened and shared the stage performing w/ various Grammy Winners and performing/recording experience around the globe. A few highlight venues you may have heard of are Bowery Ballroom, Sunfest, Blue Note Jazz Club, Brooklyn Bowl, Hotel Cafe, The Iridium, Lion King Theatre, Ardmore Music Hall, and many others.
