I am a retired innkeeper (Jersey Shore to Berkshires) that just sold my home in Massachusetts looking for long-term unfurnished home/apartment/condo/guest house cottage $1,900-$2,400 preferably with heat included. No roommates. I'm moving to New York to be closer to my son, who works at Inness, in Stone Ridge, and family. I want this to be my forever home. Washer and dryer, lots of light, fireplace?, backyard for flowers, full bath, meaning with tub, one floor, but two is fine as well, cozy,private but walkable area. OK to dog sit for my sweet Benji, my granddog.

I'm artsy, photography, stargazer, traveler, foodie, enjoy meeting people, clean, adaptable, love flowers and birds, no wild parties (but I guess you figured that out already), but I am a music lover,and I'm pretty organized. I grew up on Long Island, have always lived by the water, so this is an adjustment living so far away from it. With the exception of one inn, all my innkeeping was at inns by the ocean.
I walk daily, sort of my meditation, so would like to not be on a busy road, but if it is the right place, so be it.
I want to do more traveling sooner than later after returning from Maui the beginning of February this year it just made me want to travel more.
I'm seeking a truly clean cozy nook, that I can actually kick back and feel like home. Secure, good energy.
