Balmville is the town of Newburgh's nicest neighborhood with large homes, estates and views of the Hudson River as well as one of America's oldest country clubs and golf courses. The Desmond Arboretum, right across the street, is a lovely place to take a shady stroll. Newburgh's historic district and many famous tourist attractions are a short drive away.

About This Lister

My name is Heidi and I grew up in this house so it has been in my family since 1970 and I know it inside and out. We spent many years removing old wall paper and carpeting and put in a new kitchen in 1994. The house became a rental property in 1997 when I moved next door. I am currently living in Germany and my neighbor in Newburgh manages the property with me. I come to NY at least once a year to check up on things. Otherwise there are many contractors who take care of the lawn, trees, plumbing, electric and snow removal.
