Hi! I have one room for rent in my 3 bed 3 bath apartment. I’ve lived in this apartment for 2 years and love the location (off the Dekalb L and the Knickerbocker M) and the space!
The bedrooms is huge (will easily fit a queen bed, desk, and any other furniture you might have). The room has large windows that face out to the building’s shared backyard and its own ensuite bathroom :-0.
About the rest of the apartment: bright light-filled living room, a dishwasher, and in-unit washer/dryer. This place is a gem and I’m looking for someone cool to join!
Since we’d have our own bathrooms, the living room and kitchen would be our only shared spaces. I want to make sure we handle the basic chores (vacuuming, tidying up) that keep our place from feeling too chaotic and stressful. I do cook, but I also try to make things easy for the next person in the kitchen. A few dishes in the sink is fine, but I keep things pretty clean (surfaces wiped down, no food in the sink trap, dishes put away, etc.) and would like my roommates to do the same.
I’m looking for communicative, considerate, and clean roommates. I’ve become close with my housemates over the years and would love to find people who are down for a drink or movie night after work once in a while. I also value alone time and will give you space.
More about me: I work at an arts non-profit and am in the office twice a week. I’m a pretty calm and quiet roommate! On weekends I am running around but I do love a night in reading or working on music.
My other roommate is works in tech and is going to be new to the city from Boston.
If that sounds good to you, we can chat more on Facetime and set up a visit to the apartment. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I work at an arts non-profit and have been in the city since 2019. I work a hybrid schedule and am usually reading, working on music, or hanging with friends at shows.
