Stay in our ground-level artist’s loft in the center of bustling Greenpoint, surrounded by bars, restaurants, cafes, parks and shopping.

The space is designed to get creative. Ample floor space for yoga. A large desk for making art or taking meetings. Super high ceilings and stained glass windows that drench the apartment in natural light. A comfortable couch for lounging and a cozy loft for sleeping. Hardwood and tile floors throughout. Lush plants and tons of art adorning the walls.

The kitchen is mini but mighty! You’ll be able to cook all your meals and make French press coffee if you wish, but you’ll find no shortage of delicious food all around the neighborhood, including a delightful cafe, pizza/wine bar, and tavern all literally right across the street.

The bedroom area is lofted. You’ll climb a very sturdy ladder to reach the bed and once you’re up there you you’ll be able to sprawl out and get cozy, tucked away from the city sounds. It’s the perfect sleeping and lounging nook.

The bathroom is small but gets the job done. Toilet, sink and shower all fitting inside 25 square feet. See picture for the full effect.

The neighborhood is one of the best in NYC. You will be right across the street from beautiful McGolrick Park. The perfect place to stroll with a morning coffee and bird watch. We have a resident hawk currently living in our lush trees. There’s a great dog park, playground and pavilion which hosts lots of local events.

In less than 10 minutes walking you’ll find yourself in Williamsburg, a neighborhood bustling with shopping and food and nightlife.

Hop on the G train and be in downtown Brooklyn in 20 minutes. Or take one transfer to be in Manhattan in less than 30. It’s so easy to get around. Everything you could possibly need is walkable.

We’re looking for respectful, creative, kind people to enjoy our space. We’ve been in the neighborhood for 10 years and have great relationships with our neighbors and landlord and would love guests that can feel at home and welcome in our community.

The spot is a perfect crash pad for someone who’s busy and out and about often. But it’s also a serene place of peace for someone who is looking to focus on creating in a calm workspace.

On that note: we are on street level. Your front door opens up straight to the city sidewalk. Right next door is a bar called Goldie’s with outdoor seating. We share a wall with this bar but due to the thick brick walls, the noise doesn’t travel through. However, being next to a bar you may hear people outside the front window from time to time. Thats New York for ya!
We’ve got a black out curtain for maximum privacy and at night with the fan running, most noise is cancelled out.

We are a bi-coastal couple spending the majority of our time on the beautiful Oregon Coast.

Yovanni Del Rio is a multi-disciplinary artist and tattooer.

Kristin McLaughlin is a writer, teacher and plant lover.

We love the ocean, hiking, and exploring with our beloved lab/hound dog, “Bigfoot.”

We have a great relationship with the landlord and have been in this unit for 8 years.

We have a trusted cleaning service that comes once a week. They clean and sanitize the space, change the sheets and towels, and water the plants.

Weekly and monthly stays encouraged. Open to longer term stays for right person/circumstance. Tell us your situation and rental duration preference and we’ll see if we can make it work.

Renter must pay rent on 1st of the month.

Refundable deposit of equal value to one month rent due upon check in.
(Deposit is to ensure respectful use of the space and to cover any damages that could occur. 99% of the time deposits are fully refunded.)

A cleaning company with linen laundry service will be hired to clean the space once a week according to your scheduling preference.
