Three steps down, and you’ll enter my furnished one-bedroom garden apartment. It’s a peaceful retreat, offering a beautiful garden at the back. You enter on the ground level into a long hallway lined with bookcases and space for your coat and shoes. At the end of the hallway, you step into the open living area. To the left is the bedroom, which faces the street but is incredibly quiet. The living area features a cozy sofa, armchair, and a table. There’s also a small, folding farmhouse-style dining table with chairs, and a desk tucked into a corner. The open kitchen overlooks the living space.
At the back of the apartment is the sunroom, furnished with an armchair, daybed, TV, and plenty of plants. Glass sliding doors open to the backyard, where the garden is lush and a bit wild—it's a beautiful, natural space. I love watching the wildlife as they go about their daily routines.
The apartment comes with amenities like A/C, television, Wi-Fi, and access to a shared washer/dryer in the basement. Utilities are included.
Boerum Hill is a charming, residential neighborhood with plenty to explore. You’ll find great restaurants, bars, specialty food shops, music venues, theaters, and movie theaters, all within walking distance. Additionally, there are several subway lines nearby that provide easy access to every corner of NYC.

Rental requirements

I’m looking for a single person or couple who seek a quiet retreat while still enjoying the vibrancy of the city. It’s also ideal for parents visiting their children or grandchildren. No smoking, please. No pets. The person(s) should be trustworthy, considerate, and respectful, as you’ll be living in my home. I hope you’ll treat the space with the same care and respect as you would your own.

I’d also appreciate it if you could water the plants during your stay. If that’s not possible, I’ll arrange for someone to take care of them.

Dates are somewhat flexible, so feel free to reach out and we can work something out.

$500 security deposit in the event of loss or damages.
