This gorgeous one bedroom, one bathroom backhouse is just steps from the LA River trail and a flat, 10 min walk to the Atwater Village strip which boasts some incredible coffee, restaurants, and shopping.

I'm heading out of town a little in June and looking for someone to take care of my home while I'm gone. I love this place, it's magical.

There is a front house, but you get tons of privacy. It's a standalone home. It's got beautiful, original Spanish mission red tile floors.

Living Room:
There's a stereo system and a projector setup with AppleTV and every imaginable streaming service. You can keep with the tradition of the home and binge Kitchen Nightmares. There's also a PS5 and Nintendo Switch hooked up to the projector if you're a gamer. Have lots of good games on there. Feel free to play! The couch is super cozy. My boyfriend and I fall asleep on it every night before moseying to the bed. There's a very powerful A/C unit in here.

Dining Area:
There's a beautiful, vintage wooden dining table with inlaid gold accents. Seats four :)

Kitchen:
Stocked with everything you need. I love to cook, so there's a full spice cabinet that's all yours. I use a Berkey water filter. It looks right into the backyard and you can see the birds wandering the yard while you make breakfast.

Bedroom:
There's a queen bed with a comfy avocado mattress. Closet, dresser, and lamp. It's got a powerful A/C and a cute faux fireplace for when it gets cold. There's also a big, lovely mural on the wall courtesy of @verygaypaint. There's a door in the bedroom that leads into the fully enclosed backyard where the washer/dryer sit.

Office/Pantry:
Big desk with a Mac that you're welcome to use. Beverage fridge where I stuff as many Spindrifts as it can take. Pantry storage. Craft storage. There's also a wireless printer if you need to use :)

Bathroom:
Newly renovated with a walk-in shower. My favorite thing about the house is my beloved Toto bidet in there. I mean, the seat is warmed. It doesn't get better than that.

Private Backyard:
It's huge, fully enclosed, and has string lights, so you can enjoy it in the evening as well. There's a beautiful, hand-carved wooden table that seats eight and a propane patio heater so you can have some evening dinners. I have tiki torches with citronella fuel and I have two thermacell mosquito repellants, so no worries about the bugs. There's a big orange tree that should be bursting with oranges by the time you're there.

Parking:
Street parking only, but there's plenty.

Washer/Dryer:
It's all yours. Located right outside the bedroom door.

Small-medium sized dogs welcome with a pet fee. I'll also ask for a reasonable cleaning fee.

It really is such a beautiful neighborhood, great for walking around. The fronthouse neighbors are lovely. They have twin boys who are about 2 years old, super cute, outside playing all the time.
