I am subletting my beautiful fully furnished apartment while I travel in the month of July and am looking for a responsible person who will take good care of my space (including some light plant watering) and maintain good relationships with my neighbors.
All furniture is brand new. Entire apartment is recently renovated. Spacious bedroom/office space including solid wood queen size bed (with incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress), height adjustable desk, and views of the Empire State Building. Fully equipped kitchen with all brand new appliances and cookware. Large bright living room with a comfy sectional and stunning views of Manhattan. 4th floor unit, no elevator. Fast wifi.
Grocery store within one minute walk, laundry a block away to do yourself or drop off, Steinway and 30 Av subway stations within 10 min walk. Three Citi Bike stations, all within one block radius. Endless choice of delicious and affordable food, numerous cafes and convenience stores.

I’m a researcher currently working in the AI space. I’ve lived in many parts of NYC and by far Astoria is my absolute favorite.
I will be traveling to Europe in July and would love to sublease my beautiful apartment to a responsible person who will take good care of it.

$2850 plus utilities (wifi/electric/gas - typically less than $200/mo), $2000 refundable deposit (returned within 48 hours of departure if apartment is in same condition as arrival).
Some flexibility on start and end dates.
Short-term sublease agreement and two references will be required.
