Hi all! My roommate is moving out of NYC and I am looking to fill her room for the remainder of the lease in our 2 bed/1 bath, with the possibility of resigning or passing the lease over come January 1st!
The apartment faces backyards (not street) so it's extremely quiet and the view is of trees. The rooms get a lot of light that comes into the main space even when the doors are closed thanks to glass panels above the bedroom doors.
It is located in the beautiful Clinton Hill neighborhood on a tree lined street and on the same block as the G, so you have a quick 3 minute walk to the G train or a 10 minute walk to the C! It's a prime location right by Pratt - a 15 minute walk to Fort Greene Park and walking access to tons of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, coffee shops - you name it. Also close enough to walk to Park Slope, Bed Stuy, and Fort Greene neighborhoods. The building is small with just 7 units and is a three floor walk-up.
You will be moving into a furnished main space and have the option to have a semi-furnished bedroom if preferred. There is IN UNIT Washer/Dryer and a dishwasher, and the apartment was recently renovated.
Rent is $1775 a month, plus utilities and Wifi. You will be moving in with me and my dog so you must be dog friendly! But dog responsibilities never fall on my roommate. He's extremely low maintenance and very easy to love.
TLDR:
-In unit Washer/Dryer
-Dishwasher
-1 room for rent out of 2
-G train 3 min walk, C train 10 min walk
-Doggo & 29 year old female roommate!
I am a 29 year old female musician and music teacher. I also work in hospitality so I spend a lot of time outside of the apartment, but I enjoy my time at home when I can and like for it to be a peaceful retreat from a very busy life. I like to keep a clean apartment with respect to the main spaces and equal sharing of apartment chores! My dog, Gus, is a 5 year old mixed breed and is extremely calm. He spends most of his time sleeping and I will never put dog responsibilities onto whoever moves into the space, but he is a big part of our home. Happy to talk more about myself in a meet and greet :)
