Rooms for Sublet
We're looking to sublet a bedroom in our apartment for a few months. This lovely, sunny room is in a large apartment in Astoria - great location near 30th Avenue and Steinway Street. A short 10-15 minute walk to the N,W, or M,R trains, or the M60 bus.
The apartment is a 2nd floor walk-up, with 2 bedrooms, an office / extra bedroom, and 1 bath. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, a comfy chair, and a rack for clothes and toiletries. There's also a large living/dining room and a large well-stocked galley kitchen.
Utilities are included (heat, electric, water, internet). We don't have a TV though you could bring one.
We're looking for someone who is conscientious, a proactive communicator, and clean.
About This Lister
We are a couple in our early 50s, have lived in Astoria a long time in this apartment, and will be out of town on and off much of the summer. We'd like to find someone great to sublet our guest room to for the summer, and it could turn into a long-term sublet.
Lister's Relationship to the Space
We are the current apartment tenants.
Rental requirements
We require a one month security deposit and one months rent to move in. We are flexible on move-in dates and will consider extending the sublease if you are looking to stay longer.
Pets Policy
We haven't had anyone before with a pet but open to discussing.
