Hello! Seeking a clean, sociable, and responsible roommate! You'd be filling an unfurnished bedroom in our large 3 bedroom Clinton Hill apartment. It's available now and is $1250/month.
Rent is month-to-month for June and July, and the landlord will have a year-long lease starting up in August. We're ideally looking for someone who can commit to the 14 months, but it could also be a great set-up if you want to test out a move to Brooklyn for 2 months without committing to a year-long lease first!
Easy access to the A/C/G and lots of great bars and restaurants.
THE APARTMENT:
- Spacious second floor apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms
- Enormous living room/dining room combo that's fully furnished including a full-size dining room table, two couches, etc.
- Front balcony, exclusive to our unit, with potted plants and a couple chairs (bonus points if you’re into gardening!)
- Large kitchen, with new gas range/stove and cabinets & counter space galore. (If you like to cook, you'll find it a rare NY treat!)
- Hardwood floors throughout
- Large common-area storage closet off the living room
- Fairly easy street parking to be found within a block or two, if you've got a car
THE BEDROOM:
- This bedroom is the smallest in the apartment but gets the best natural light. It fits a queen-size bed, dresser, bedside table etc and has a closet. Window fits an A/C unit. You'll share a bathroom with one other person (A).
THE ROOMMATES:
- H is an actor, filmmaker and teacher in the city. He mostly works outside of the home, but occasionally has an audition to tape in his room. Occasionally he has a dog named Jolene staying with him for a long weekend.
- A is a researcher and writer. She's presently working from home but will likely not be doing so full-time in the future. She likes hosting small gatherings of friends for dinner parties and get-togethers. In her free time she likes going to shows, reading, meditating, and surfing.
We're looking for people who like to do their own thing socially, but also like to chit-chat, watch a movie, and hang from time to time. And sorry -- while the occasional dog/cat coming over is very welcome, no pets full-time.
If interested, please reply telling us a little bit about yourself and your availability for a virtual or in-person tour!
