Bedroom for sublet from May 28-June 30.
It's a 4bd/1.5 bath with w/d in unit. Roommates are cool and barely home. Also a big pup who is trained and in crate when his owner isn't here.
Roommates are all hard workers, artists of various disciplines who also work day/night jobs, so respectful of shared space and mindful of keeping things calm so home can feel like a restful space for all.
Neighborhood is so fun! Walkable to Herbert von King Park, restaurants, music, grocery stores, bars, yoga, coffee, bookshops, etc. B43 stops right outside our door and the C is a ten minute walk. Even though the neighborhood has a lot to offer, the apartment is quiet and hardly any street noise so sleeping at night is not a challenge.
Apartment on second floor of secure building. No elevator. Central air.
Note: the electric keyboard and art supplies will be removed from the room; closet and dresser will be emptied out.
I'm a middle-aged writer traveling to residencies from late May through June. I'm also a reiki practitioner and meditation facilitator, so clearing the energy is as important to me as cleaning the room. It feels really good in this space. I write all day here when I don't go into work in a studio and there's little distraction/disruption.
My room has a couple of bookshelves, desk and chair, dresser and closet. Books will stay on shelves but the closet and dresser will be cleared for you. I'll wash and leave bed linens, towels/wash cloths, pillows. No smoking.
I'm on a long-term sublet.
$1500 for entire duration May 28 - June 30. This covers rent and all utilities: gas, electricity, WiFi, plus the shared expenses of monthly household goods (dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper) delivery.
