We’re looking for someone who is genuine and responsible to sublet our beloved 1B1B apartment while we’re away traveling this summer. The dates are June 1–July 1 (flexible), $5000/month + $3000 deposit.

The apartment is brand new — finished just earlier this year! — and designed by a well-known architect. It's located in Downtown Brooklyn, right near Dumbo: just a 7-minute walk to both York St (F train) and Jay St-MetroTech (A/C/F/R trains). One quick stop gets you into Manhattan.

Inside, you'll find:

A fully renovated open kitchen with Bosch appliances. Tons of sunlight. Stylish designer furniture. Art components. Lots (and lots) of happy green plants. Very good espresso machine and grinder for serious coffee lovers. A movable LED TV and a PS5. Shelves full of books(art/philosophy/literature).

Groceries like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are about a 10-minute walk, and the neighborhood is full of great restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. 10 minutes walk to Fort Greene Park and other cozy neilouhoods like Clinton Hills and Brooklyn Heights. Also, the building sits right next to a police station.

We're a young couple in art industry and academia — Cissy is an artist and Alex is a PhD researcher and creative writer at NYU. We’re hoping to find someone who will enjoy and take good care of our home (and our plants!) while we’re away.
