I’m looking for someone to sublet my beautiful, sunlit room in Stuyvesant Town from May 15th through January 2026 (with a possible extension into the spring semester). I’ll be away on a university exchange in Europe and won’t be in NYC.

The apartment is spacious, quiet, and very well cared for—perfect if you’re looking for a calm, comfortable place to live in one of Manhattan’s most desirable residential communities. The room gets amazing natural light and is an inspiring spot to work, study, or just relax. A professional cleaning service comes twice a month, so the space stays fresh and tidy.

Electricity and gas are included in the rent. Internet and air conditioning come to about $70/month in total.

You’ll also have full access to everything StuyTown has to offer: private parks, basketball courts, gym, study lounges, and more. It's in the East Village, a quick ride to anywhere in the city..

I’m a PhD student at NYU, and the apartment is ideal for students, visiting scholars, or working professionals who value both peace and proximity to all the energy of downtown Manhattan.
