Hello Searchers!

I'm looking for a lovely person, couple, or small family, who wants to sublet my 2 bedroom the month of June while I travel. The rent is a reduced, in exchange for the responsibility of sitting for my little black cat. Sorry no other pets can come stay, too much potential drama.

DATES: Available starting Thurs May 29th (optional). Must start catsit by Sun June 1st. We return Sat June 28th.

LOCATION: super awesome! We're a 5 min walk to Prospect Park, and 1 min walk to the Church Ave Q/B train (there's an entrance on the corner of Canton and St. Paul's).

THE APT: Has a large kitchen, big entryway for coats and boots, nice living room, and a huge pre-war bathtub. It gets great light. Some morning light in the kitchen, living room & bath, lots of afternoon light in bedrooms. Both bedrooms are Super Big! 12 feet x 18 feet (bigger than you think, no one seems to get how big that is, until they see it).

FURNISHED: Queen beds. Desks. Linens. I will clear out dresser and some closet pole space in both rooms.

BUILDING: Apt is on the 4th floor, walk up. It's the top floor/no neighbors above. Pre-war.

About This Lister

ME: Not too relevant, since I won't be here. But, I'm a former theater artists turned software engineer. Me and my partner will be away for the month for a project of his.

THE CAT: Your actual cohabitant will be a little back cat named Miles (a neutered male). He's a pretty spry 16 yo. Still likes to play with string. Very very cuddly, prizes laps above food. Never ever scratches or bites.

CAT SITTING INCLUDES:
- feed wet food, morning and evening. Exact timing not important.
- scoop litter box (mostly) every day.
- (I will leave you set up with plenty of food and litter.)
- companionship, cuddles, pets & play. He is very into having company.
- be in touch with me about Miles. Keep me posted that he's fine, or let me know if there's any issues.
- in case of an emergency, take him to the vet. There's also extra support I could call in, if this happened/as needed. I have several friends nearby who know him well.
