Looking to rent our furnished house for different periods from min. 3 days to one week. Longer stay might be possible depending on time. Price for longer stays flexible.

It is an old and charming wooden house on a 17 acre property with well stocked kitchen, living room and a terrace on the first floor and two bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor (sheets and towels provided unless you prefer having your own). Wood stove and forced air for heating. There is fast wifi, although phone signal can be spotty in the area.

It is ideal for single occupancy, a couple, small group of friends, or a family of three. We prefer quite guests, no loud music, partying, etc.

The house is perfect for artists who are looking for a quiet spot for creative research, thinking or writing. There is another house on the land which will be used by us during your stay, yet it is barely visible from the house for rent.

The house overlooks a beautiful meadow, screened treehouse, and a swimming / fishing pond. There is an access to a wood fired sauna and a trout stream (Callicoon Creek) at the bottom of the property.

The Delaware river and town of Callicoon with supermarket, Sunday farmers market, wine store, bars, restaurants, antiques, cinema, and post office is 2 minutes by car and 15 minutes on foot. Renowned fly fishing rivers - the Willowemoc and Beaverkill are nearby, as is access to the hiking, skiing and lakes of the Catskills.

Unfortunately the house is not accessible for people with mobility issues. There is no dishwasher or washer/dryer in the unit (there is a 24 hr laundromat in town).

If you are looking for a longer rental period we might need to negotiate few days when we will need a house for our guests but will be sure to find a solution.
