We're a French family living in Brooklyn, NY, and we're looking to rent out our beloved home for the entire month of July until mid-August 2025.

About the Apartment:
Our sunny, spacious 2-bedroom apartment is nestled on a beautiful tree-lined street in the heart of Park Slope, one of Brooklyn's most vibrant and family-friendly neighborhoods.
Located on 10th street between 7th and 8th avenue, it is
just two blocks from Prospect Park and steps from fantastic shops, grocery, cafés, and restaurants. The F/G subway lines are just around the corner (7th Avenue stop) and take you to downtown Manhattan, the Lower East Side, Nolita, Soho in 20 minutes or to the beach (Coney Island!) in about 45 minutes. Plus, the F-G line connects you easily to other cool corners of Brooklyn - Dumbo, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Fort Greene-among many others.

The Space:
A fully equipped kitchen designed for serious home cooks, a large sunny living room, and a dining room that seats 8–10 comfortably.
Two desks for remote work—One in the primary bedroom and the other in the living room- are well-separated for privacy and focus.
One king-sized primary bedroom and a small kid's room with a loft bed- where we can add a twin daybed to accommodate an extra person, depending on your needs.

It's ideal for:
-A family with kids
-Three adults
-Four adults, if two of them are okay with sleeping in separate beds.
-A solo traveler or couple needing separate workspaces
We're happy to configure the space based on what works best for you.

Layout:
This is a classic, spacious railroad-style apartment taking up the full second floor of a brownstone—about 1,200 sq ft (100 m²) where the smaller bedroom connects directly to the living room. Happy to discuss the floor plan in more detail.

Accessibility:
Please note that the building is accessed via a stoop, and the apartment is located on the second floor, up one flight of stairs (no elevator).

Amenities:
High-speed WiFi
Fully equipped kitchen + dishwasher
No in-unit laundry, but excellent laundry/dry cleaning nearby with easy pick-up and delivery service.

Extra:
A home filled with books—from literature and art to children’s favorites, in both French and English
Toys for kids aged 5–8
The public library is just a block away, and the neighborhood is full of children’s activities and summer camps
The Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Garden are a leisurely 20-minute walk from the apartment

Dates + Rental Preference:
Available: June 27 – August 16, 2025- $5500 a month- Utilities are included, though A/C use may be capped or discussed depending on usage.

Ideally, looking for the same subletters for the entire period, or at least for a full month.
To keep things smooth and secure for everyone, we run a background check, sign a standard sublet agreement, and provide a security deposit.

About Us
We're a French couple originally from Paris and have called New York home for more than two decades. We live here with our 6-year-old daughter and are excited to share our space with someone who will enjoy it as much as we do.
