Hi! I’m subletting my fully furnished, adorable Echo Park studio apartment while I travel this July. It’s a perfect writer’s or artist’s retreat, with a large wooden desk, sunlit windows, and a cozy, well-equipped kitchen. Big queen bed, plush linens, and a bathroom with a bathtub and great water pressure!
The apartment is nestled on a quiet hillside garden maintained by kind neighbors — just steps from Clark Street Coffee, One Down Dog Yoga, A Good Used Book, and a handful of local bars and restaurants. You can easily walk to Echo Park Lake or Vista Hermosa Park. It’s a small, peaceful building with friendly neighbors in individual studio units.
The Space Includes:
* Large wooden desk for writing or creative work
* Queen-sized bed
* Fully stocked kitchen (stove, blender, rice cooker, etc.)
* Bathtub / Shower combo
* Garden path entrance
* Wifi and all utilities included
This space is couple-friendly and pet-friendly — best suited to a cat or small dog. Please note:
* Street parking only
* No washer/dryer in unit
* Unit is down a few steps and not wheelchair accessible
* No A/C, but stays cool with windows open and fan use
You are a good fit if you are:
* Communicative and reliable
* Able to submit references and a deposit to confirm
* Tidy and respectful — please leave it as you found it (light watering of plants would be amazing!)
If you're interested, please reach out and tell me a little about yourself and your summer plans. I'm excited to find someone who will enjoy and care for this space while I'm away! Possibility of extension to August TBD.
I’m a writer and artist based in Los Angeles, and I’ve lived in this studio apartment with my small dog for over two years. It’s a peaceful and light-filled space I’ve put a lot of love into, and I plan to stay here long term. I’m a responsible and tidy tenant, and I’m just looking for someone who will take good care of it while I’m away this July.
I’m the primary tenant and will be your main contact throughout the sublet. I live here full-time and know the building, neighbors, and area well. I’ll be showing the apartment myself and happy to answer any questions. The building has a mellow, friendly vibe, and I’d love to find someone who fits in and treats the space with respect. I use they/them/theirs pronouns.
