Welcome to the heart of Brooklyn!
I'm looking for someone clean and responsible to sublet my 1BR/1BA apartment for July while I’m away. My space is best suited for one person or a couple, and preference will be given to those who can stay the full month. No pets and no smoking. Learn more about the space below, and if you're interested, contact me with your name, preferred dates, and why you'd like to stay.
LOCATION
The apartment is located on the third floor (two flights of stairs) and is street-facing, with three large west-facing windows that bring in an abundance of natural light throughout the day. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Nostrand Ave A/C trains, offering quick access to Downtown Brooklyn (5 minutes) and Lower Manhattan (15–20 minutes). The Bedford-Stuyvesant G train is a 15–20 minute walk away if you're heading to Bushwick or Williamsburg. There’s a laundromat and a grocery store on the block, and endless list of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in the area. Some of my favorite spots are Saraghina, Peaches Hot House, Barb's, Dear Friends, and Corto!
LIVING ROOM
The living room includes a loveseat, side table, TV, and an adjustable-height coffee table. An AC unit is mounted in the right-hand window to keep you cool during the day.
DEDICATED WORKSPACE
The living space has an adjustable standing desk, perfect if you need to work from home during your stay!
BEDROOM
The bedroom has a queen-size bed, bedside table, dresser, closet, full-length mirror, and blackout curtains. There’s an AC unit in the window to keep you cool at night.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, full-sized fridge and freezer, electric kettle, and all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you may need.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a full-sized shower, toilet with a bidet, and plenty of shelving to store your toiletries.
PLEASE NOTE
My block is lively! It’s located along a bus route, so you may hear some traffic noise throughout the day. It’s also popular with both residents and visitors, especially during the summer. With the windows closed and AC running, the sound is minimal—but my apartment may not be the best fit if you're seeking a very quiet stay in Brooklyn.
I'm an LMSW who works remotely, leading a non-profit and working with therapy clients, and I've lived in Brooklyn for over 6 years. I'm the current tenant of the apartment and I have a great relationship with the landlord, who owns a business across the street, so if there are any issues, I can contact them quickly.
1. Video call prior to sublease agreement and security deposit to confirm it's a good fit for both of us.
2. Signed sublease agreement and security deposit after video call to confirm stay.
3. Full payment on or before the first date of occupancy.
