Hello!
I am looking for someone to take over my lease that runs until 2/28/26 for a junior one bedroom in Bed-Stuy right off the Kingston-Throop C. I will give you a new queen bed frame that has a dresser built in underneath and the headboard with side tables!
It’s available anytime after May 19. Flexible move-in. Rent is $2550 a month with one month's security deposit.
- Cozy space that feels MUCH bigger. 10+ feet ceilings with lots of storage options. Two large south-facing windows in the front with tons of natural light coming in. Gut renovated a few years ago with updated appliances, including a dishwasher and a washer and dryer in-unit. The shower/tub was re-caulked a month ago.
- Amazing commuting options: same block as the Kingtston-Throop C train (less than a minute walk to the station) and ~10 minute walk to the Nostrand A express. Door-to-door daily commute to lower Manhattan on the C is ~25 minutes. B43 bus to Williamsburg on the corner and citibike dock down the block.
- Lively neighborhood with walkable restaurants (Peaches, Saraghina, etc.) and bars (Barb’s, Zig Zag, Frog).
- There is a Super Foodtown ~5 minute walk from the apartment, a Key Food a block away, and a small fruit/vegetable store on the same block as the apartment open late.
- Building: A 14-unit walk-up and the apartment is on the top (fourth) floor (meaning no annoying upstairs neighbors). There’s a cute residents’ backyard with seating and a charcoal grill. Accessible via a fob (physical key for actual apartment) and there is a video intercom system with a screen in the apartment. There’s also a phone app so you can unlock the building door from anywhere and generate temporary access codes for deliveries.
- Utilities: Water is included! Electricity and internet (Fios is already installed) are the only other expenses you are responsible for. Electricity is quite reasonable, because the apartment was renovated with two mini-split systems. It’s also very well insulated (total March electricity bill was $61.22 and April was $60.36).
If you’re interested, send me a message and I’ll send you the video walkthrough I made and talk about scheduling seeing the place.
Been living all around NYC for years, but recently started commuting to New Jersey more and this commute isn't sustainable.
I will be showing the apartment and connecting you to the property manager for the application.
Current tenant
Landlord is willing to allow assignment of my lease for a suitable replacement. To that end, you must qualify with documented stable income of 40x rent (guarantors are accepted at 80x rent) and must have good credit/clean background check. I have no control over who gets approved, that is handled by the property manager/landlord.
Landlord allows pets, but I don’t have a pet (so no issues with lingering pet hair).
