A cozy, quiet and bright medium size bedroom available for a July 1 move in; this is a lease renewal so credit check, proof of income, and background check will be vetted by the landlord; the current occupant is leaving the city, and while this is a sad development, it's also an opportunity for someone new to enjoy the space! I would describe the culture of the apartment as calm, chill, and zen with a emphasis on cleanliness, low noise, and mutual respect. This is a 3 bedroom apartment, with two other housemates. I, Melvin, am 45, full time retail director for a luxury beauty flagship in SoHo, and Steven, 37 is a tailor and runs a bespoke men's suiting studio in Nolita. We're both super quiet when at home, usually with our headphones on, catching up on a book or our favorite tv series. We also don't have a lot of guests over, but guests are obviously ok, just not a revolving door.
You:
*Ideal candidate is someone 30 and older.
*Someone who values a quiet and very chill living environment and authentically lives that way.
*Someone who doesn’t have frequent guests; this is a quiet refuge from the noisy chaotic city and ideal candidate would be someone who appreciates such an environment.
*Not a requirement, but ideally someone who’s more of an introvert
*Being very clean and tidy is a natural way of living for you, and not a “chore” that you have to do. That applies to your personal space as well as the common areas.

About me:
-Melvin (me) 45, director of luxury beauty retail, I'm very chill and more of an introvert and tend to keep to myself reading my kindle, meditating/yoga or watching tv. Pretty much unplugged. I like home to be a peaceful refuge where we can unwind and relax, listen to a podcast or read, and looking for a like minded candidate. I'm very clean, can’t stress that enough, and looking for people who live similarly and to whom being clean and tidy is not really a chore but more a way of life. Ideal candidate would share sense of keeping foot traffic in apt quiet, and values a peaceful quiet home.
I look forward to meeting ☺️
Proof of income, good credit, and background check will be done by landlord since this is a lease renewal.
