About this Lister

I have over thirty years of experience in cabinetry, home remodeling, art-fabrication, sculpture, furniture building and lighting design. I love the relationship between the organic nature of wood and the organized vectors of dimensional furniture. Line, repetition, and proportion make a dynamic dialogue with the natural patterns of wood grain. I particularly love the tamber of wood, the warm dry rasp of cedar, or the heavy cool clunk of white oak.

Background and Expertise

I first started out making things as a child growing up in the woods of northern Minnesota, where I would listen to audiobooks while making chairs from diamond willow. To this day there is no better solace than listening to an engaging book while working with wood.
