I help creatives who are struggling to create their digital footprint maximize their chances at attracting curators, residencies, publishers, and grants through strategic design.
By digging deep into what makes your art unique and your ideal audience, I'll work with you over a 6-8 week period to make or update your website, email newsletter, and social media posts while also providing time-tested strategies at getting the kind of attention you want—all without selling your soul online :)
Want to be more competitive in residency applications? Need a website to both present and archive your work? Or just need a content strategy for your newsletter?
Whether it's a new website paired with a stellar social media strategy or a branded substack, I've got you covered.
Take a look at my work below and/or shoot me an email so we can get started.
My name is Monica. I'm from Miami originally and living in NYC for 8 years now.
After working as a barista for a couple years, I made the leap and began studying design seriously in 2018. I soon was hired as the in-house lead web designer at abc carpet and home, where I worked for almost three years. I left my work to pursue my MFA and do freelance full-time.
I like making websites for creatives because as an artist myself, I know there are few things more difficult than trying to represent yourself authentically online, whether you engage in social media or not.
My favorite part of this work is being able to listen to each person I work with and help them devise their own kind of visibility—one that that matches their level of ambition without compromising on how they want to be seen by their audiences.
The result is creatives getting more work in the fields they want to be in, lessening the administrative load, and ultimately having more time to work on their art.
With 6+ years of experience designing websites across wellness, luxury retail, mental health, and nonprofits, I’ve designed countless homepages, social media posts, emails, and more.
I’ve helped my artist friends make bold moves online that’ve gotten them to better places in their careers. And now I want to do it more!
