Quiet back bedroom of a spacious 2 bed apartment with great light on the third floor of a beautiful Brownstone. The room is furnished (bed, bedside table, dresser, shelves) and has a spacious closet. There is lots of additional storage in the basement and shared closet. I am also leaving a guitar and banjo for you to play!
The apartment is an 8 minute walk to the Utica A/C and 11 minutes to the Gates J. Rent for the fall is $1,375 / month + utilities, which are split and usually cost between $100-150.
The building was fully renovated 5 years ago. There is an in-unit washer and dryer. We have a brand new bathroom with a rain shower and bathtub, and the spacious kitchen has brand new appliances. These include: a full oven, microwave, dishwasher, double-door fridge, toaster and toaster-oven, tons of kitchen/pantry cabinets.
There are just four apartments in the building. The neighbors are quiet and kind, and everyone helps to take care of the building.
In the neighborhood:
One block to Saratoga Park, sweet coffee shop and diner on the corner, one block from many restaurants and bars on Malcom X, convenient grocery stores 5-10 minute walk away on Malcom X or Broadway.
About This Lister
My name is Aida, and I am a student studying abroad in the Fall Semester this year. I study dance and environmental science at the New School. My roommate Miki, who you will be living with in the apartment, is my childhood friend from Vermont. He is also a student, majoring in Linguistics and Urban Planning at NYU. He is also a circus artist and can teach you to handstand!!
We are typically quite clean in the apartment, but it is still very cozy, and we do lots of crafts together. We are both quite active and spend lots of time out of the apartment, but enjoy spending quality time at home when we can, especially for dinner together. I love to cook and we have lots of cooking equipment to make use of.

No smoking inside the apartment, please!
Pets Policy
Pets allowed. We don't currently have any in the apartment. There is a dog on the bottom floor who we don't see often.
