We are lucky enough to call a full floor loft in one of the rare pre-war townhouses in Fidi our home.

The building used to be an old printing factory build in 1908 - meaning 11 foot ceilings, massive open space, hard wood floors and lots of window exposure.

The full floor unit has a privately keyed elevator, intercom, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, large kitchen, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, AC in two bed rooms, wifi and even a washer and dryer.

We are renting out our apartment while we are on vacation. One bedroom comes with an on-suite bathroom, the others share one large bathroom. Double beds in two bed rooms, a modular bed that can be used as two single beds or one large bed in the office (third bed room, is usually my office). Two bed rooms have stand-up desks for convenient work stations. Apartment comes fully furnished - bed linens, towels, kitchen wear etc. included.

The place is 2 mins from Fulton street (metro) and just a 5 mins walk from the water (pier 17), in 5 mins you are in Tribeca and in a 15-20 mins walk all soho and Chinatown restaurants are at your fingertips.

My partner and I just moved here from Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally Thomas is from New Zealand and I am from Austria, we met in France - but that's a longer story.

I work in design as the head of emerging tech, love minimalism and reading and Thomas works in advertisement, shares my love for reading and far surpasses my passion for the gym.

Our home is our calm space - the kind with vinyl playing, a paper and coffee on Sundays, and dinner parties with friends on Saturdays. (Did I mention we have a vinyl player?).
