It is in an elevator building with a full-sized washer, dryer and a dishwasher in unit. This apartment sits above the garden of the school next door so it is quiet and still gets plenty of natural light.

Lovely prewar molding, high ceilings and that sturdy material that makes for a quiet space. The bathroom has a waterfall shower.

Neighborhood:
This is in the Hudson Heights neighborhood, right near a delicious Indian restaurant, Mexican restaurant and a reportedly great new Asian fusion place (I have not personally tried it yet.) There are two grocery stores on the block both wonderful. About a 6 minute walk to the A Train at 181st Street. 6 Minute walk the other direction to Fort Tyron Park which if you are unfamiliar is a spectacular park, with a dog park and the Met Cloisters inside.

There are pets here! I have two cats and I share a dog. More pets are WELCOME but probably not a great fit for someone with aversions or allergies.

It is available May 1st until September 1st but if you want the place a little after either of those dates or for a portion of that time I can be flexible for the right roommate!

Other fees:
I do like to have a cleaning person come in every 4-6 weeks and ask that we split that cost (Generally around $350)

I work in events, film and television production and often tend to be gone for long hours. I love this neighborhood. I came here during the height of the pandemic and decided not to leave (I was previously in Brooklyn.)
