Hi LP Folks - I have a lovely yard-facing room in our massive 5,500 sq ft house located in the Ditmas Park Landmark District of Flatbush, blocks to the Q or B train and plenty of stores, restaurants, shops and just a short walk to Prospect Park.

I am a teacher and will be gone for July and August so this room is available for these two months and/or a flexible duration between 7/1-8/31

The room:
Room is on the ground floor though one must come up 4-6 steps depending on where one enters the house. No other bedrooms on this floor. Room is about 250 square feet with 12' high ceilings, five windows, decorative fireplace, and French-doors which are paneled for privacy and covered by black-out curtains. Room is almost a mini-studio and has a queen bed, sofa, coffee table, dresser, wardrobe cabinet, stereo with record player, Alexa. Across hall is a lightly used living room with sunroom. Also on floor is the dining room, den/tv room, kitchen, mudroom/pantry and a half bath. Full bath options (two) are one flight upstairs. Dogs are in this room normally but room will be thoroughly cleaned prior (Miele vacuum +) so if you are allergic.......fyi.

House has mega common space - it's a corner lot so we have a full yard/garden, porch, side patio, driveway/garage, fenced backyard with grill, seating and lights, sun room, living room with records/piano and various instruments, formal dining room, wood-paneled den with 50" tv w/BluRay/Roku, laundry room in basement, eat-in kitchen with every gadget possible, dishwasher/microwave/toaster. oven/three fridges, dry pantry, 3.5 bathrooms. House bike may be available. Ample street parking. Parking spot in driveway available for extra cost/mo.

Housemates are mostly 20s-50s. House is very quiet by day and the hustle/bustle is in the kitchen by nights. Cats on upper floors. No pets no exceptions. No room sharing. Alexa in the kitchen/ wifi. All utilities and communally used house supplies are included in total stated (elec/wifi/gas/toilet paper/dish-soap/paper towels/cleaning supplies/trash&recycling bags/house printer).

Room will have window AC and fan too, sheets/pillows, towels, etc. You will need nothing.
