Hi everyone, I am looking to rent my 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house on a hill, located just outside of the town of Hudson.

This is a two-story house built in the 1870's. The house is approximately 1,800 sq. ft. and has original features like hardwood floors, exposed beams and brick throughout. It sits on a hill and has views of Claverack Creek across the road.

The first floor has the kitchen, living room, dining area, and a half bath as well as a wood-burning stove. The kitchen includes an island, two sinks, a large fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, and microwave.

The second floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has vaulted ceilings, a skylight, and an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub. Currently the smallest bedroom is furnished as an office with daybed, and the other bedroom is a guest room with a full-sized bed, nightstands and dresser. All bedrooms have ample closet space and windows.

The basement is where the washer and dryer are. It is an unfinished space with plenty of room for storage, rustic enough to be used as a basic art studio in the warmer months. There is also an unfinished attic for additional storage space as well.

This house sits on almost half an acre of property, fenced in, with abundant trees and creek views. There is also a small porch with a grill, a driveway, and a 1-car garage right on the street. The house is walking distance (5-7 minute walk) to the Hudson-Albany Electric Trail, and about a 10 minute drive to Hudson’s Warren Street.

Rent is $2,850 per month, with renters responsible for electricity and internet bills and snow removal. Lawn care will be provided. The house comes partially furnished.

A year lease is preferred (with possibility to renew), with first month’s rent and security deposit ($5,700) due at signing. The house will be available late-July at the earliest, but I am flexible, so just reach out if you’re interested. Thanks!
