Hello! I'm Lyndsay a historical novelist, and my husband Nicholas is a SAG film actor. Great to meet you.
We have an empty basement (in our brick row house) that we use mainly for my book translation storage shelves--this is an enormous waste (and they can be moved)!
Basement has tile flooring, a big sink, cupboards, free electricity and Wi-Fi, an industrial steel chef's prep table, a mini-fridge, access anytime to our bathroom upstairs, and is a two-block stroll from the L Train Halsey stop.
Tons of art, cafes, bookstores, groceries, and killer neighbors here on the Bushwick/Ridgewood border, and we're keen to provide space for a fellow artist. Access is either through the storm door or via key to the front door, anytime, but unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm a former actor (I still pay my AEA dues!) who turned to writing fiction when my restaurant got knocked down with bulldozers. That turned out astronomically better than I thought it would, and I'm an international bestseller pubbed in 15 languages.
Pansexual, art fiend, huge into home cooking, there's a cat named Prufrock here, grew up on the West Coast. I was 9 years renting in Washington Heights, and then bought this house with UK books sales 11 years ago, so that's twenty years in NYC! I'm working from home most of the time if you need help with anything.
My husband Nicholas is a 6'4" teddy bear SAG actor (who can fix almost anything), and our roommate Marcel is a grad student at Pratt. Lovely to meet you!

Monthly rent paid one week in advance, in cash. Paint fumes are welcome (the storm door is great ventilation), but no heavy duty industrial chemicals. No hate, LGBTQ or friendly queer allies only.
