Bedroom available in a 3 bedroom apartment located in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. We are looking for a roommate to move in by June 1.

The apartment has a decent size kitchen, a big living room and a bathroom. It's a second floor with no elevator.

The bedroom is unfurnished but has a window AC in good condition (which we remove in the winter). The bedroom faces Flatbush Avenue and has lots of light.

The apartment is a 5 minute walk to Parkside Ave (Q train) and Prospect Park (Q and B trains), and is two blocks away from Prospect Park. There is an Associated supermarket across the street and a few more supermarkets very close. There are also a bunch of fruit and vegetable shops, a butcher and a fish market a few blocks down Flatbush Avenue. There are about four laundromats in the area, and many other shops on Flatbush Avenue. There is also a good amount of bars and restaurants. It's a very lively neighborhood, home to a big Caribbean community.

We are looking for someone who is ok sharing cleaning chores and is respectful with the shared spaces. We split utilities monthly, which are around $90-110 (internet+electricity+gas).

It's a house with a calm, positive and clean atmosphere. We all do our own thing, and we like to keep open communication where everyone feels comfortable.

I'm currently fostering my friend's cat probably until January, but there isn't a set date her leaving yet. My roommate has a small dog. They are both friendly and mainly stay in our rooms.
