Located in the Mount Washington/Glassell Park neighborhood, tucked away on the side of a hill surrounded by old pine, palm and loquat trees with views of Elysian Park hillsides and sunsets on the large outdoor deck. Fully furnished, kitchen with all the stuff, washer/dryer, Wifi, heat, A/C unit. It is an indoor/outdoor living situation as the main bedroom is detached from the house. The main house is a 1920’s former hunter's cabin, with an office/spare bedroom, kitchen, living room + bathroom with shower and bathtub - about 600 square feet with lots of windows + big deck and backyard. The bedroom is a separate little unit with a king sized bed and ½ bath + lots of windows. The house is rustic and is in the middle of a hillside so you need to be able to manage quite a few stairs (61 to be exact!).

Easy street parking on Future street. Just a 10-15 minute or less drive to Downtown, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Frogtown, Atwater Village, Griffith Park, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, etc. Walk down the hill to the LA river or up the hill into Elyria Canyon. EVERYBODY Gym and Roam yoga are a short walk away as is Loquat coffee, Barra Santos, Tierra Caliente and Super A grocery.

About This Lister

I own this little hillside dream and live here with my dog. My solution to a smallish space has been minimalism and built-ins, many of which my former partner made by hand, as well as keeping the space tidy and organized. I am a Choreographer and Director who travels for work a lot. When I am home I love to go on hikes in the nearby mountains, plant succulents and native plants on my hill and have sing-a-longs and dance parties on the deck. My pup Rascal is the love of my life and butt of all my jokes.
