You enter the apartment on top of the stairs into a hallway. A large living room which is open to the dining area and the kitchen is toward the front of the house. The bedrooms are laid out in a way that gives each room a sense of privacy. No smoking house. No pets. Shared use of a charming backyard.

It is conveniently located for subway travel: 5-minute walk from 2&5 Beverley Road stop and 15-minute walk from the Q stop. Prospect Park is 15 minutes away; also close to Kings Theater, restored to its former glory. The neighborhood is Flatbush, at the edge of Little Caribbean. This 2nd floor is currently shared by 3 people- the 4th bedroom recently became vacant. We can consider an earlier move-in date if it works out.

The first floor is occupied by an artist/curator.

We are a an artist & writer/professor couple who owns the house. We lived on the first floor during the pandemic and loved living in Brooklyn. We now mostly live in upstate NY. When you view the apartment, you will meet one of us, Harold or Chiori.
Harold kept the basement for art storage and occasional city visits.
We're looking for someone who will love and take good care of the property, enjoy the garden and truly make it your home.
