Modern Ruin is a 1 bath/1 Bed modern home in the traditional village of Agua Fria.

Enjoy the industrial simplicity of this rammed-earth and poured concrete home.

Located less than 10 minutes from downtown/plaza, the house is on 2.5 acres of private land, just a few minutes from restaurants and cafes.

The full kitchen has all the appliances you could need: Ankarsrum mixer, Zojurishi rice cooker, Rancililio Silva espresso machine, pots, pans, etc. I am a baker and cook a lot, so its fully stocked.

Bathroom has large soaking tub and shower. Washer and dryer in the house.

The bedroom is up a flight of stairs, and the bathroom is on the ground floor.

Upstairs has a large deck for watching sunsets and morning coffee. Downstairs you can open the garage door wall to bring the outdoors right into the living room.

A car is recommended for staying here as you are a few miles from town, but the bus also stops right down the street, and you can get by with lyft or taxis. Bike path is nearby as well so you can bike to town if you bring bikes.

There are two renters on the property in separate buildings (the house has ample private space around it) who are available to help out with any issues, with friendly dogs.

It is available June 1-7, June 20- July 7th, and possibly some other weeks in the summer if you are curious, let me know.

Hi! I moved to Santa Fe in 2021, and bought this house in early 2023. I run a small non-profit, cook a lot, and love the area. I've had some minor surgery keeping me away from NM and the house.

I am the owner, and this is my primary residence, and looking for good renters to use the space while I'm travelling. If the specific dates do not work for you, I may have additional availability.
