We are going on sabbatical for one year (or longer) and renting our 3 bedroom, 1 bath house in Central Pasadena. It's one of the oldest in the neighborhood, built in 1899. Our property is a Historic property, a certified Wildlife Habitat, and we are on the trajectory of becoming a zero waste property.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with tv and a hi-fi sound system. The primary bedroom has a Queen size memory foam bed and is very bright and airy. The 2nd bedroom has a lofted twin bed with a desk underneath. The third bedroom is currently setup as an office/guest room. There is a fourth bedroom/office which can be made available for an additional fee, if needed. The living room is spacious with lots of windows, a hi-fi sound system, smart TV and a mini split ac/heater. There is a large front porch with a breakfast table and porch swing. Plenty of off street parking as well.

The back yard is huge (1/2 acre!) with a hammock, playhouse, trampoline, fire pit, and veggie garden. There are a dozen fruit trees that supply year round fresh fruit, all watered on grey water: Lemons, oranges, cherries, mulberries, boysenberries, peaches, apples and pomegranates (in that order).

The neighborhood is fantastic, shade with huge old oaks and very walkable and bike-able. There are three parks/playgrounds, two public pools, and a climbing gym all within a 5 min walk. There is also a Tuesday farmers market 3 blocks away.

About This Lister

We are two artists, a filmmaker/visual artist and a musician/Professor. Together we have an 8 year old son (a budding artist himself!) We love to travel together by bicycle, swim, hike and explore new places together.
