I’m Melanie—a former beauty editor and now remote social media director working in the women’s wellness and beauty space. I’ve made this Bushwick apartment my little sanctuary: peaceful, cozy, energy-cleansed, and filled with sunlight and intention. I'm an early riser, music and movie lover, and someone who values mutual respect, cleanliness, and a warm, welcoming home life.

You’ll also be sharing this lovely space with Lauren, our sweet, grounded, and thoughtful roommate who works outside the home. Lauren is everything you'd want in a housemate—kind, respectful of space, and very clean. She's especially committed to keeping the shared bathroom tidy and fresh. You’ll share the apartment with the two of us, and the bathroom with Lauren, so we may both join in meeting potential subtenants to ensure the energy is a great fit for everyone.

🛏️ Room 1: Serene & Private Front Bedroom (Available July 1, 2025 – July 1, 2026)
$1,100/month – Utilities Included

Perfect for a working professional or creative who values quiet, privacy, and being in a space where energy and boundaries are respected.

Located at the front of the apartment, this room feels like your own private corner of the world. It’s the only bedroom near the entrance and has wonderful separation from the rest of the apartment.

You’ll share a bathroom with Lauren, who is exceptionally clean and respectful of shared space.

Our apartment is shoes-off, clean-surface, and low-traffic. No loud music or messiness—we believe in peaceful, clear, and intentional living.

First month’s rent + $1,100 security deposit required, along with proof of income or guarantor.

We’ll start meeting folks as early as Wednesday evening, and we’re looking for someone who really vibes with the home energy and respects the shared values.

✨ Bonus: The front room gets beautiful natural light, and its location gives you privacy and a sense of retreat, even while sharing the apartment.

🛌 Room 2: My Primary Bedroom – Short Stay Option (June 19–30, 2025)
$550 – All Utilities Included

Need a soft, short-term place to land? Whether you’re in-between homes or just visiting, this fully furnished primary bedroom offers a cozy, intentional space for a brief reset.

Includes a comfy bed, desk, TV, and private bathroom.

Great for someone in transition or needing a gentle place to pause.

🏠 The Apartment Vibe
Three-unit building, and we’re the only apartment on the second floor—super quiet and private.

No pets or couples, 4/20-friendly (from the window or backyard only), and no cigarettes.

We’re a Covid-conscious, no-shoes household.

Shared gated backyard—perfect for sun, reading, or chill time.

There’s a laundromat just a 2-minute walk away, right on our corner, and a shipping center directly across the street for all your mailing and package needs.

We’re five blocks from the J/M/Z trains (Myrtle-Broadway is our stop), with great local spots within walking distance:
