Our garden-level apartment is a peaceful home in the heart of Alphabet City on "the best block in the neighborhood" according to our Assemblymember. As we currently live here with our two kids under 4, our place is ideal for a young family, or a couple expecting.

The apartment is a 1 BR 1 BA + Home Office/Nursery and features a large private outdoor patio, chef’s kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, and wine cooler, an in-unit washer/dryer, and dedicated baseboard heating controlled by a Nest thermostat.

The primary bedroom is oversized with room for a sitting area, crib, etc. The second room has functioned at different times as a home office, a Peloton room, and now, our toddler's bedroom. The bathroom is large with a double showerhead and soaking tub. The back patio is right off the living/dining area, creating a wonderful outdoor living space throughout the year. We are just a few steps down from the sidewalk, with a private entrance providing easy bike/scooter/stroller storage.

We love our neighborhood (did we mention we're moving down the block?). There are great community gardens, Tompkins Square Park is a block and a half away, and we have awesome bars, restaurants and nightlife along our section of Avenue C, not to mention all that the East Village and Lower East Side has to offer all within a 10 minute walk.

We have 3 grocery stores with a few blocks, as well as a Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Union Market within a 10 minute walk.
There is a crosstown SBS bus stop around the corner, and we are a 10 minute walk from the 1st Avenue L train entrance at 14th & A.

Water is included in the rent. Gas, Electric & Internet will be the responsibility of the subletter.

Hi there, we’re Erik & Lauren and we are subletting our Alphabet City apartment! We are a family of four, raising our two boys in this amazing neighborhood in the greatest city in the world. I'm a dad, a start-up guy, a local politics junkie, a foodie and various other things.
We own this apartment, and are subletting it for (up to) 2 years per our Coop rules. Though we are moving to a larger apartment, it's just down the block, so I will be easily available for any issues that come up.
