super convenient location in the PLG/Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn. unit is located on a park block. grocery store, prospect park subway station (Q, B, S trains), laundromat + cafes also located on the same block. (cross streets are flatbush/lincoln.)

walking up flatbush a few minutes you'll encounter brooklyn botanical gardens, the prospect park zoo + the brooklyn public library. prospect park entrances abound.

the 1 bedroom apartment is a quiet retreat on the first floor at the back of a cool pre-war building. all rooms are furnished (in a simple way, i am kind of minimal but cozy.) there is a nice new windmill a/c unit. the apartment was redone prior to my move-in so all kitchen appliances are relatively new. (there's a rice cooker and a toaster oven too for smaller food prep.)

i don't own a microwave or a television (if those are immediate turn-off's for you) but i do have a projector that can be set up to watch stuff. i am an actor so there's a pretty serious self-tape drop with a variety lighting equipment if you need to tape!

bedroom has a comfy new queen size platform bed + ample closet/dresser space. bathroom is a full bath!

there is a long hallway that i have never quite figured out a use for, but is fun to traverse back and forth from the main room to the bedroom...makes you feel like you're in a house sometimes.

i am looking for someone who would benefit from this unit while i am out of town for work and who would be willing to look after my couple plants/collect mail. the plants are all living a low-maintenance, low-light life, as the unit does not get much direct sun. (i get my vitamin D at the park.) i have sun lamps on a timer to help the plants along.

i am cool with 1 person or a couple subletting the space, and i can be flexible about the dates on either end. i will give preference to those interested in subletting for the full ~4 weeks but please reach out regardless in the event we can work something out! most important to me is having a reliable/thoughtful person in here because this apartment is special.

i am an actor/director (she/her), and i travel a lot for production work. my partner is also an actor/educator who splits time here. we have been renting this unit in PLG for just about two years. i am a tidy person with not that many belongings...so it's a pretty spare space with sweet accents.
