The partly furnished private bedroom for rent has two double-paned windows, a large closet with double sliding doors, a solid wood armoire with shelves, and a private bathroom with shower. Very quiet. Wood frame queen-size bed available with clean mattress, currently in storage.

Shared space includes large rear kitchen/breakfast room with washer/dryer, dishwasher, and gas range, a front living room, and a middle dining room currently used as a work-from-home room. Back deck has view of the bay and Mt. Tamalpais surrounded by trees. Partly-shaded backyard has trees, plants, two gardening beds and a small cedar cabin that is currently unused, available as a study. Limited storage available in the basement, accessible from the backyard. Small shed for bike storage near the front door.

The home is very well maintained by the landlord. It's been recently solar powered with battery storage.

For me (the current housemate), personal compatibility is key. I recently had a great roommate for 6 years, who was chill, respectful, clean, and funny, and had a dog.

I am a freelance web designer who works from home and likes to cook, dance, keep plants and make clothing. Fairly quiet and clean habits. I'd say i'm pretty lighthearted and communicative, but I do respect silence. I thankfully have many friends, but not many visitors, and a girlfriend who occasionally stays over.
