The building is quiet and the neighbors are respectful. 10 minute walk to Myrtle-Willoughby on the G and Myrtle Broadway on the J/M. The neighborhood is walkable and diverse. Mix of families and young professionals. The apartment is close to community gardens and Herbert Von King park.

Utilities and Wifi are not included in the rent.

Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a woman, 25+, tidy and mindful of common spaces who does not work from home. We are already hybrid/WFH. Sound travels in the apartment, so we are also mindful about not making loud noises. No party animals (sorry). We value being considerate, especially around visitors and guests (i.e., giving each other a heads up when inviting people over). Male guests can come no more than once a week and must leave in the morning. If you are looking to invite bigger groups, please check-in with us first. Keeping the apartment clean is a group effort. So we value completing a chore when you notice it needs to be done. Lastly, we value open communication. If something is bothering you, please share with us so we can work it out as a household.

Hi! My name is Motun. I’m a 33-year-old Nigerian American, and I’ve been living in Brooklyn since 2021. Before then, I lived in Boston for 4 years, and before that, in Connecticut, one of the places where I grew up. I work as an educator in a large NYC workforce development organization. For fun, I love thrifting (though trying to cut down), watching Korean dramas, and seeing musicals and plays on Broadway. As a roommate, I prioritize keeping main areas clean (though I can be a little messy in my room!). I’m on the more introverted side, so will often be in my room unless there’s a reason to be.
