Room with private bathroom in apartment located in the heart of Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn, for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 4 months (end of August).

This private room is part of a brand-new apartment with a clean, modern, minimalistic design. Both the room and the apartment are fully furnished, come with hardwood floors, and have many plants and books about architecture, art, and design.

The room is bright, quiet (facing the inside of the block), and spacious, with large windows that let in tons of natural light. It has a large closet and plenty of storage space. You’ll also have your own private bathroom with a bathtub.

We'll share the fully furnished common areas of the apartment, including a large kitchen equipped with all major appliances (yes, there’s a dishwasher too!), plus a washer and dryer in the unit for easy laundry days. There's also a dry cleaner next door, JIC.

I like to keep the apartment very clean and organized. I often travel for work so, you'll have the apartment all to yourself most of the time!

The building is basically brand new (it was built in 2021) and has great amenities: a shared rooftop with cool views of Manhattan, a shared backyard, a gym with brand new equipment, and bike parking.
On-street parking is easy to find on the block, as the building faces a school and a park, and there are often spaces available in front of the building, in case you have a car.

Stuyvesant Heights is one of Brooklyn’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods, with tree-lined streets, classic brownstones, and a cool vibe. There are also great coffee shops, cool restaurants, and grocery stores just a short walk away.

The apartment is almost equidistant to the A, C (Utica Stop), and J, M, and Z (Myrtle). Walking to any of them takes 10-12 minutes.
There is a Citi Bike station 2 minutes away and one 4 minutes away.

About This Lister

Hi! I’m Fab (he/him).
I’m an Urban Designer and world traveler, and I've been living in New York for about 10 years now. I work for a global non-profit based in NYC, where I’m the Director of Design and Research.

I travel a lot for work, so I'm not around the apartment all the time—usually just a few days or weeks each month. When I'm home, I mostly work remotely, but I head into my office in Midtown once a week.

A little about me: I’m into art, architecture, drawing, pottery, music and I love listening to vinyls, watching good movies, and reading (especially while traveling!). I’m passionate about languages too—I’ve lived in Paris, Montreal, San Francisco, Valencia, and a small village in northern Italy, and I speak English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

At home, I like to keep things tidy and clean. I enjoy cooking (and baking bread and focaccia!). I usually keep the apartment quiet, and I rarely have people over, but in the summer, I sometimes invite a few friends up to the rooftop for a BBQ.
