We live in a beautiful midcentury modern home in the Arlington area of Poughkeepsie. It is quite large-- 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large backyard, outdoor fire pit with beautiful outdoor decks. We are located very close to Vassar campus (walkable or bikeable) and within close driving distance of some great towns-- Beacon, Rhinebeck, Cold Spring, New Paltz, Kingston, etc. Our wifi is very reliable (fios) in case you need to work.

We are looking for someone to cat sit around July 1-5 for our cat, Theodore. We are also planning some trips for this summer including July 30- Aug 4 (flexible) and another week.

Alternatively, if you are interested in doing a housing exchange, we have done this in the past and it has worked great. If you have a house that you want to swap for a week, it's a great low cost way of vacationing in the summer! You stay at our home while we stay at yours. We would be happy to look after your pets if you look after Theodore :)

We both work in technology, mainly remotely. We love hiking, swimming, skiing and all outdoor things. We are very respectful other people's homes and have always had good experiences on the Listings project, we are looking for someone kind, reliable and great with a cat. He is very easy going and easy to take car of. He eats 2x per day and we ask that you clean his box (in the basement) 1x per day. He's very social and will want to hang out with you!
