This apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 6 story, pre-war building in Kensington, Brooklyn (neighboring Ditmas park, Flatbush, and Midwood). 1 bedroom, livingroom, 1 bathroom, and a large eat-in kitchen. Bedroom and living room will be empty, but I can leave the kitchen fully furnished if needed! The building has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible. There is no laundry in the building, but there are 2 laundromats located within a 3 block radius (one of them is brand new). The neighborhood is quiet and residential. There are tons of coffee shops, restaurants, delis and grocery stores within walking distance. The F train is a 6 minute walk from the building (18th ave station), and the B and Q train is a 10 minute walk (Newkirk plaza). The B68 bus is a 5 minute walk, and takes you to Cortelyou Road or Prospect Park within minutes! The location is great because it is between Prospect park and Coney Island Beach, which is great in the summer. If you have a car, parking is easy to find on the street. The apartment is very spacious, has hardwood floors, great natural light and large windows. Air conditioning units will be provided in all rooms. There are 3 large hallway closets, and an enormous walk-in closet in the bedroom! Bedroom and livingroom will be unfurnished, but I can leave 1 armoir if needed for extra storage. All utilities and wifi are included in the rent. Pets are ok, but they have to be quiet/ used to apartment living to not disturb the neighbors. Definitely no smoking as this is a family- friendly building.
