Hi there! We’re looking for a wonderful person to join us in our spacious, 3BR apartment. The three bedrooms are spread out across the apartment, allowing for plenty of privacy, and each bedroom has a lock and key for the occupant. There is also central air/heating, which we try to use economically. We also have a small dog who mostly stays in his mom's room. Unfortunately, our lease doesn't allow for more pets.

The bedroom for rent has two large windows, two closets, and room for a queen-sized bed, desk, and dresser.

Front Room, $1,500 (Occupied)
16x16
1 window, 1 closet, private

Middle Room, $1,500 (Available)
15x15
2 windows, 2 closets, private

Back Room, $1,500 (Occupied)
17x17
3 windows, no closets, semi-private

Laundry/bike rack in the basement, 2 bathrooms for the three of us to share, and there's a small, communal backyard space. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout, and everything is recently renovated with stainless steel kitchen appliances. We’re within a 10-12 minute walk of the A/C train, and there are several grocery stores, a gym, a neighborhood park, multiple major bank branches, a post office, a hardware store, and cafes within a 5-minute walk. The building is relatively quiet and peaceful overall. Nice neighbors and the landlord/super are very efficient and responsive!

About This Lister

Shaun: I’m an actor/writer/director/filmmaker who also teaches acting, directing, and playwriting. I'm also a part-time manager at a gym in Manhattan. I’m a friendly introvert with a 15-year-old Maltipoo who is the sweetest pooch in the world (he stays mostly in my room). I do a lot of my work from home so I also stay mostly in my room. Some of my hobbies are: walking in Prospect Park (or any park, really), hiking, cooking, knitting, biking around the city, archery, watching films, and seeing live theatre (she/her).

Aminat: I'm originally from the Bay Area in California and have lived in New York for 2 years now. I love trying out different physical activities, going dancing on the weekends, and finding events to go to during the week after work. I work remotely but try to go to a WeWork space at least twice a week. Working out of the apartment every day makes me feel a little bit crazy lol.

Most important things to me are cleanliness and open and respectful communication. I'd love for the apartment to be an exceptionally clean space to relax and recharge. Passive aggressiveness tends to make environments tense so I like to be direct and not let things linger. (she/her).

We are both BIPOC cis women in our 20's and 40's.
