We’re subletting our spacious Ridgewood apartment from June 3rd—July 2nd $2,800/month, utilities all included. The apartment is a three-flight walk-up with 1 bedroom, 2 home offices, a large living/dining room, an eat-in kitchen and a full bathroom with a window. It’s an ideal space for a writer/artist/freelance couple. Lots of light and plants throughout—a very well-loved space!

We have Fios internet with an extender, so you’ll get a strong signal in any space. There are AC units installed in the bedroom, both offices, and the living room/kitchen for hotter days. We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind tending to our plants, which are fairly low maintenance (once a week watering). The apartment is fully furnished. We’ll leave the space tidy and clean and make space for you in the closets, but won’t remove all traces of our existence!

No pets unfortunately (one of us is very allergic to most dogs and cats, except our small hypoallergenic dog). We will be sure to dust and vacuum thoroughly in case you have any allergies.

The neighborhood is fairly quiet, though we get some noise from the street during the day. Birds chirping and a peaceful view from the kitchen windows and a gorgeous view of skyline sunsets from the offices in the evening. The bedroom faces the courtyard so it’s especially quiet there.

On Ridgewood’s “Little Italy” strip, you’ll find many grocery store options within a block or two. Half a block to the nearest laundromat. A 10 minute walk to Topos bookstore as well as excellent restaurants, cafes, and other shops.

We’re two blocks from the Fresh Pond M, which will get you to Lower Manhattan in 35 minutes.

About This Lister

We are a couple with a small dog in our mid-thirties, both freelance translators and writers. One of us is a musician as well. We are subletting our rental to spend a month in Sweden with family.

We love this space and hope to rent it out to kind and considerate people who will find comfort here!
